DJ Switch emerges the first winner of GLO X Factor (West Africa)

 Spiro Damaskinos – Sony Music Marketing Director, Bella Disu – Globacom Group Executive Director presents Dj Switch the award of 24 million Naira and the recording contract deal with Sony Music.
Obianuju Catherine Udeh popularly known as DJ Switch has emerged the first winner of the world’s biggest singing reality TV show, X Factor in West Africa. the other top 2 acts in the finale were Eshun & Vicky.

She hails from Udi, Enugu State, and studied Geology at the University of Port Harcourt. She worked briefly with Halliburton and later became a DJ. She grew up in Warri, Delta State, but lives in Abuja. Her father is late and she is the last of eight children.

As she was declared the winner, DJ Switch was so filled with joy she ran off the stage to embrace and celebrate with her family that were seated in the crowd. When she was asked how she was feeling, DJ Switch could not say anything, she just sang to God in appreciation of her victory.
